Group to conduct series of
Holiday Book Signings at Atlantis Marine World.

The Long Island Author’s Group, in conjunction with the
Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research and Preservation and
Atlantis Marine World, are pleased to announce a series of Holiday
Book Signings to benefit LIAG and the Foundation:
Southampton, NY, December 1, 2009: The LIAG, a group of over fifty prominent Long Island based authors, will conduct a series of Holiday Book Signings at Atlantis Marine World during late December. Over the course of five days more than twenty of the Group’s authors will be on site at Marine World in Riverhead to offer their most recent books to the public. Author’s will personally sign their books and discuss each title. THIRTY PERCENT of the proceeds will be donated to the Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research and Preservation.
Bob Lanieri, Director of Food Services for Atlantis Marine World says: “This is great for our efforts to support the Foundation as well as integrate our activities with another segment of the local cultural scene. We are so happy to have such a distinguished group of authors as part of our Holiday celebrations.”
Phil Keith, President-elect of LIAG echoes Mr. Lanieri’s comments: “This is a great opportunity for many of our authors to meet with the public and showcase some of the group’s latest works. There are bound to be many titles appropriate for Holiday gift giving, signed personally by the authors, and we’re thrilled to be able to contribute to the good work of the Foundation.”
Former Suffolk County Poet Laureate Dr. David Axelrod, psychologist Dr. Loraine Alderman, writer and medium Cindi Sansone Braff, award-winning young adult author Suzanne Litrel, children’s book author Dorothy McPartland, “tween” book sensation Tricia Rayburn, counselor Richard Scheinberg, novelists Michael Cinquemani, Boris Riskin, Steve Golub, Tom DeMola, Jeb Ladouceur, Meg Lawrence, Joel Reitman, CB Knadle, Florence Gatto, Lois Stern, and memoirist Jim Roth, among others, will all be featured at the signings.
The authors will be at the Aquarium on Tuesday, December 22nd and Wednesday, December 23rd as well as Monday through Wednesday, December 28 through the 30th, each day, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
