Tom DeMola is the founder of a
small business that services Long Island. In 2003,
the company’s website was “hijacked” by a radical
Muslim extremist group who erased all their files
and replaced them with anti-American and
anti-Semitic messages. Viruses were also streamed to
anyone visiting the site. Homeland Security agents
determined that the extremists wanted to begin an
“electronic Jihad” against Western businesses to
destroy the
American economy. Exit 55 was inspired by the actual
events surrounding the website being hijacked and
then links them to a growing threat against the
American way of life that the New York Times Book
Review said “ …. is more frightening because it
could happen!”
Exploitation of illegal Day-Laborers takes a deadly turn as extremists use them to begin a deadly rampage across Long Island.
