Joseph L. Licari is a dedicated author from Saint James, Long Island who transitioned from a successful business career to focus on family, writing, and music. The father of three grown daughters, he has enjoyed coaching and mentoring kids and adults of all ages, and Joe currently works part-time as a guitar instructor for a major music retailer. Joe also conducts author visits and workshops in elementary schools, libraries, bookstores, and other venues.
These experiences have taught Joe that teaching is most effective when it's engaging, interactive, and tailored to the individual's needs and interests. As a result, his writing and presentations encourage curiosity and help children learn in ways that are fun and motivating.

A graduate of Stony Brook University with a B.S. and Hofstra University with an MBA, Joe has also completed several certificates in Creative Writing.
