Thomas M. Cassidy

Thomas M. Cassidy, a member of Mystery Writers of America, is a former senior investigator who spent 20 years battling crime for the New State Attorney General. Other experiences include appointments as a Clinical Associate Professor at the School of Social Welfare at Stony Brook University, as Research Fellow for the American Institute for Economic Research and an appointment as a Senior Fellow at the Institute for SocioEconomic Studies.

Tom is the author of: Elder Care/What to Look For/What to Look Out For! (New Horizon Press), How To Choose Retirement Housing, an Economic Education Bulletin published by the American Institute for Economic Research, and co-editor along with Dr. Lynn M. Tepper, an Associate Clinical Professor at Columbia University, of a college textbook, Multidisciplinary Perspectives on Aging (Springer Publishing Company).

Articles by Thomas M. Cassidy have appeared in many newspapers across the United States, including The Washington Post, The New York Times, Daily News, Investor's Business Daily, Buffalo News, Star-Ledger, Gannett Suburban Newspapers, and Personal Financial Planning.
